Probation ordered for Milwaukee woman after Medicaid fraud
MADISON, Wis. - The owner of a medical transportation company, convicted of fraud, will spend one year on probation, while the sentencing for one of her employees is upcoming.
Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen says Milwaukee residents Joseph Roberts and Tracy Roberts operated Community Transportation.
Forty-one-year-old Tracy Roberts is listed as the owner of the company and is a certified Medicaid provider of transportation services.
Forty-nine-year-old Joseph Roberts provided transportation services for the company.
Roberts' name was already included on a federal exclusion list for a 2007 felony conviction of Medicaid fraud, for which he was sentenced to four years of probation.
That list prohibited him from working for a certified Medicaid provider in the future.
His sentencing is scheduled for February 28, 2013.
