Couple enjoys snowy engagement at Red Arrow Park
MILWAUKEE - While some people spent the first big snowfall of winter 2012-13 shoveling and snowblowing, one man chose that time to pop a pretty big question.
A picture-perfect scene at Red Arrow Park in downtown Milwaukee provided the chance for a proposal.
The two lovebirds, Mike Truskowski and Linzy Tjader, had the entire ice rink to themselves.
"It was perfect," said Tjader.
"I've been planning it for the past couple of weeks, just waiting for a nice snowfall. I wanted to do some ice skating," explained Truskowski.
"We did a few laps and (I) got down on one knee and proposed, and she said yes. It was perfect. We're planning on getting married next year."
