MILWAUKEE - Four Milwaukee Police officers accused of performing illegal strip searches were due in court on Monday.
The officers were set to have a pre-trial conference at the Milwaukee County Courthouse.
Officer Michael Vagnini faces 25 charges, including sexual assault.
He stands accused of being the ring leader behind the strip search scandal at MPD's District Five.
Fellow officers Brian Kozelek, Jacob Knight and Jeffrey Dollhopf have been listed as co-defendants.
They face charges of misconduct and violating the department's strip search policy.
Investigators say the illegal body cavity searches took place over a two-year period.
All four suspects were set to stand trial in April 2013.
