MILWAUKEE - The sports auction for MACC wrapped up Saturday, raising about $44,000 to help fight childhood cancer.
It's a yearly tradition. Dozens of one-of-a-kind sports collectibles are auctioned off on our sister station, TODAY'S TMJ4 to help raise money.
Executive director of the MACC fund John Cary can't hold back as he talks about the generosity in Milwaukee, especially at a time of sorrow for the country:
"We're all about saving kids lives, and about giving life to kids and when we witness what we did yesterday, and what the country is trying to recover from, it really shows what the fabric of this society is, and its to give a child a life," said Cary.
