Sentencing for woman who killed pregnant lady, cut out unborn baby

MILWAUKEE - On Thursday, a woman from Milwaukee was to be sentenced for a grisly murder.
Annette Morales-Rodriguez killed Maritza Ramirez, a pregnant woman, and cut out her unborn baby.
A judge was expected to sentence Morales-Rodriguez to life in prison, but there were questions involving whether the judge would offer the possibility of parole.
Ramirez left behind three children and her husband, Christian Mercado.
Investigators say Morales-Rodriguez committed the crime because she wanted a baby, but could not have one of her own.
Morales-Rodriguez was to be sentenced at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
