Couples pick 12-12-12 to wed in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee County Courthouse will be among those bustling with brides and grooms on this unique Wednesday.
At least 27 couples are getting hitched at the courthouse on the 12th day of the 12th month of 2012. There will be no excuses for forgetting their anniversary date.
The county clerk says about 6 couples normally get married at the Milwaukee County Courthouse on a typical Wednesday.
At the Brown County Courthouse, a Wednesday wedding is usual. But clerk Julio Garcia says 5 couples have signed up to tie the knot on 12-12-12.
