A little snow, but how much of it?

  • MILWAUKEE - High pressure pushes in to our South today and begins to offer brighter conditions. We'll have a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures near seasonal averages in the mid 30s.

  • A couple of waves in the mid levels of the atmosphere could trigger some periods of snow showers or flurries early and again later tonight, but no significant accumulation is expected.

  • Dry weather looks to continue through the balance of the work week with growing sunshine on the way, too. Winds shifting around to the Southwest and a bit of a ridge in the jet stream will lead to a warming trend over the next several days.

  • We could touch 40 degrees by Wednesday and continue in the low to mid 40s heading into next weekend. Assuming no accumulation at Mitchell International in Milwaukee, that would mean our record breaking streak of consecutive days without snow will keep climbing.
