Police: Wrong-way drunk driver sent car 15 feet into hole in Wauwatosa

WAUWATOSA - Wauwatosa Police say that a drunk driver crashed through a construction zone and ended up 15 feet underground.
The driver was not hurt.
The crash happened along North State Highway 100 near West Watertown Plank Road at about 3:00 a.m.
Police say the man, 21, was driving the wrong way before crashing through construction barrels and into the 15-foot trench.
A tow truck came in to remove the car from the trench.
Crews returned to work on the construction site later on Wednesday.
