SHOREWOOD - The Village of Shorewood is working to prevent crime.
Officials held a community meeting in the library Monday to discuss a recent wave of break-ins.
Since September, thieves have broken into more than 25 cars and 18 homes in Shorewood and Whitefish Bay.
