VILLAGE OF SHOREWOOD - Police on the north shore are warning neighbors to lock up their cars and homes amid a rash of thefts.
25 cars have been broken into recently and there have been 18 home burglaries around the villages of Shorewood and Whitefish Bay.
Police have two men in custody but they believe there are other suspects out there.
Shorewood is planning a community prevention meeting on Monday night at the local library to discuss the crime spree.
