GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers are looking for their 6th straight win this week, but it might be a bit harder than their previous victories.

The Packers will travel to New Jersey to take on the New York Giants.  New York upset the Packers in the 2011 NFC divisional playoffs.

"It's kind of interesting, it's not who you're playing in their case, it's when you play them," said Newsradio 620 WTMJ Packers color commentator and TODAY'S TMJ4/NBC26 reporter Larry McCarren on 620WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Morning News."

The Giants haven't been playing their best football as of late, but as Larry reminds us, "They are leading their division, plus they're the defending Super Bowl champs.  The Packers have got to be ready for the Giants best, (as) they're are coming off the bye."

The Packers would love nothing more than to get some key players back for this game, but it looks like we may have to wait another week.

"The way things have gone, and the way they brings guys back, I'd be surprised if anybody (Clay Matthews, Greg Jennings, Charles Woodson) is ready to go this week, and maybe next," explained Larry.

Regardless of who plays and who sits, Larry seemed confident in the Packers.

"I think it's certainly a winnable game, but a tough game."
