GLENDALE - Many die-hard shoppers are anxiously planning their Black Friday run on deals for Christmas and other holiday gifts.

Now, there's an app for that.  Make that a few apps for that.

"It's all on your smartphone," said Kirstin Albiero, the manager at Verizon Wireless at Bayshore Town Center, to Melissa McCrady on TODAY'S TMJ4's "Live at Daybreak."

"It makes it so much easier.  It bridges the gap between newspaper clippings and your phone on one, nice, organized area.  It gives you so many monitoring conveniences and navigation to be able to go to these locations to compare prices through different applications, to simplify your life and make sure you're getting that deal on Black Friday or Cyber Monday."

What are some of those apps?  Albiero cited one example.

"The Black Friday Survival Guide really puts some real-time views into what those deals are.  It allows you to be able ot compare prices.  You have different scanning applications that compare prices against stores like Target and Walmart.  It helps you navigate to those places so you can get your best deal, or you can buy them right on your smart phone."
