GREENFIELD - A 26-year-old Milwaukee man has been criminally charged with sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl.
According to a criminal complaint, Justin Peterson assaulted the child while living in the basement of a home in Greenfield.
Authorities say the home in which Peterson was living belongs to the alleged victim's mother.
The 26-year-old is also charged with possessing child pornography. Prosecutors claim he took sexually-charged photos of the girl as she slept.
The claims bare startling similarities to a recent case out of Racine.
Babysitter Alexander Richter is charged with dozens of counts for allegedly assaulting children he was being paid to care for.
