Giovanni M. Clouse, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Gio was just a very outgoing, well-liked student," says Dan Olson, Campbellsport Superintendent.

"He was a passenger in the vehicle," Fond du Lac Police Captain Steve Klein said in a statement.  "The driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Gilberto Castaneda-Bobadilla from the Eden area was extricated from the vehicle and was flighted from the scene by Flight for Life helicopter to Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening injuries."

"A third passenger, 17-year-old Alex W. Schultz from Campbellsport and also a student at Campbellsport High School, was transported to St. Agnes Hospital with critical injuries."

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Earlier this year, three Campbellsport High School students were killed and six others injured in a crash on Highway 67 in the Township of Ashford.

Carly Ottery, 19, was convicted of negligent homicide in connection with that crash and last week was sentenced to one year in jail with work release privileges.
