MEQUON- It's the moment Twilight fans everywhere have been waiting for: The final movie of the Twilight saga opened Thursday night.
More than a few high school girls will be fighting to stay awake in class Friday as they are staying up late to swoon over the finale of a very popular teenage love story.
If you are a guy hoping to win the heart of young Jenna or Anna -- consider this your warning. Edward is a vampire, and he is apparently dreamy, unless you are on Team Jacob.
Even moms, it appears, are not immune.
"I love it, I love it," says Paula Kabara of Team Edward.
Starting Friday -- the Marcus Ridge Theater in New Berlin will show the film 17 times a day. But that is not good enough for Thursday's Twilight crowd, they had to be among the first.
"Ya, let's go! I was here they day they opened, or put the tickets on sale," says one Twilight fan.
But the real first -- are Team Edward's biggest fans Jenna and Anna. They are willing to sacrifice their Friday for a little time with their beloved Thursday night.
"I'll just be pumped about it. I won't be able to sleep and I have school and work tomorrow, and I'm still here," says Anna Mork.
And yes, this is the last film in the Twilight series. While that's sad news for those who enjoy the otherworldly love story -- more than one theater worker says they won't miss the throngs of screaming teens.
