125 Guard Soldiers Return Home

CAMP DOUGLAS, Wis. (AP) -- About 125 members of the Wisconsin Army National Guard are back with their families in Wisconsin today.

Family and friends greeted Troop E, 105th Cavalry yesterday at Volk Field in central Wisconsin.

First Sergeant Paul Easterday, of Galesville, says it's great to be back in the state and he appreciated everyone's support.

The members are based in Merrill and Antigo and had been in Iraq for an eight-month tour.

With their return, the Wisconsin National Guard will have about 250 soldiers and airmen serving on active duty. About 100 are currently deployed overseas.
