MADISON- Republicans in the state Senate say they're eager to start hammering out details for Wisconsin's budget.

"That definitely dominates the landscape early on," says Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald.  "One of the things that the bottom line is that this next state budget not only be in balance, but there is no structural deficit."

Fitzgerald says Governor Walker will unveil the spending plan early next year through the Joint Finance Committee taking it up with each legislative house having its own version.

"We're working with the governor's office right now on a regular basis, just having a discussion of what that budget should look like."
