MILWAUKEE - Santa may be sneaking up on you, but it is already time for Milwaukee's holiday parade.
The action steps off Saturday.
The 86th parade will feature 20 marching bands, big balloons, huge floats, and of course, Santa.
Organizer John DeGrace told Newsradio 620 WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Morning News" that volunteers from Johnson Controls will also be pushing shopping carts along the parade route and they're asking parade-goers to help fill those carts.
"Last year, we got about 14,000 pounds of food. It's a win win, because you get to come down on Saturday and see a great parade, and when you bring a non-perishable food item, it's a good way to help a family that's not as fortunate as you are.'
The parade steps off from North Prospect and West Kilbourn Avenue at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
