RACINE -- Three children died and another is hospitalized following a fire at a home in Racine.

The children and their mother were trapped inside Thursday morning.

In audio from the 911 call that's been released, the mother pleads for help for her children:

Operator:  "911.  What's your emergency?"

Mother:  "Somebody come get my kids out the house.  My house is on fire."

Operator:  "Your house is on fire?"

Mother:  "Yes, 1916 Linden Avenue.  They crying like crazy.  I can't get my kids out."

The house did not have electricity for more than a month prior to the fire.

The cause is still under investigation.
