Mayor Barrett: 'Never say never' to Washington job offer
MILWAUKEE - Mayor Tom Barrett, a staunch supporter of President Obama, says he doesn't expect the president's re-election to impact his future.
While on "Wisconsin's Afternoon News with John Mercure" earlier this week, Barrett was asked if he would consider taking a job in Washington if the president offered one.
"I can't foresee a position in Washington that would make me move there, but I'd never say never," Barrett said. "I spent ten years there (as a member of Congress) and I loved every minute of it. But I don't miss it one bit."
"The Barretts live in Milwaukee."
