CAMPBELLSPORT- A teenager from Campbellsport has been sentenced to one year conditional jail for a deadly crash in Fond du Lac County that killed three of her friends and injured six others.

Carly Ottery was driving an SUV with eight others inside when the SUV that left a road near the high school, crashed into a field and rolled several times earlier this year.  Katie Berg, Caitlin Scannell and Sabrina Stahl were killed in the crash.

Investigators say some of the girls weren't wearing seat belts.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys wanted Ottery, 19, to be sentenced to five years probation, but family members of the girls who died wanted a stronger sentence.

The judge sentenced Ottery to an additional five years probation, 100 hours of community service each year of probation, and ordered Ottery to speak at junior high and high school classes about the dangers of driving.

Ottery faced a maximum of 30 years in prison.
