Pop star Katy Perry performs ahead of President Obama speech
MILWAUKEE - Pop star Katy Perry sang a few songs, then, broke her set to ask the crowd to do something with the victims of Hurricane Sandy in mind.
With a play on words, "I just want to say a couple of things before we move forward, because we're moving forward," said Perry.
Perry urged those in attendance to text financial support to the Red Cross by texting 9-0-9-9 and donating $10 to help support Hurricane Sandy victims.
Earlier, 4th district Congresswoman Gwen Moore, riled up democratic supporters, telling them that if they can't think of any other reason to vote, just vote because they don't want you to vote.
