PORT WASHINGTON- Two former Homestead High School students have been sentenced to 30 days in jail and two years probation for having sex with a 14-year-old student last year.

Brent Anderson and DeAngelo Dantzler pleaded no contest to reduced charged back in September related to the incident last November inside the high school.

The Journal Sentinel reports that Ozaukee County Circuit Judge Sandy Williams ordered Dantzler and Anderson to each perform 200 hours of community service during the term of their probation, and allowed them to serve the jail time starting Dec. 21.  The two men are currently attending Milwaukee Area Technical College, and that jail sentence will happen during their college break.

Prosecutors alleged that Dantzler and Anderson performed sex acts with a teenage girl in an unlocked storage room inside the high school.

The legal fight is far from over, as the Journal Sentinel reports that federal civil case filed by the victim and her family against her assailants and Mequon-Thiensville School District and Homestead officials will last for months.

The attorney for the school district issued a statement, saying in part:

"The school district determined that the allegations against the district were completely unfounded...while we have no further public comment on the lawsuit, we look forward to presenting our defense to the court."
