Bill Clinton to stump for Obama in Eau Claire
EAU CLAIRE- Former President Bill Clinton is heading to battleground Wisconsin to stump for President Barack Obama.
The Obama campaign says Clinton will hold a grassroots campaign event in Eau Claire on Wednesday. Details will be announced later.
Obama was scheduled to campaign in Green Bay on Tuesday. But the Democratic president has canceled three straight days of campaigning as he deals with the aftermath of superstorm Sandy.
Clinton stumped for Obama in Minnesota on Tuesday, appearing at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota Duluth.
Meanwhile, Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is expected to appear at events in Eau Claire and Green Bay Wednesday morning and in Racine in the afternoon.
