Milwaukee police investigate triple shooting on north side
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a triple shooting on the city's north side.
Neighbors say they are shocked that an eight-year-old boy and two other people were shot inside a home. They say something should be done to stop the violence.
Just feet away from where neighborhood kids play near 29th and Cherry, an eight year-old boy and two women were shot. A bullet still on the ground - where the boys dribble their basketball.
"It's very surprising to wake up that early in the morning with that kind of chaos," said a neighbor who did not want to be identified. "My vehicle was parked right here and I saw the bullet casings behind my vehicle."
"It's very sad. And I feel very hurt and the person that did it need to go to jail for a long time."
Neighbors say that Milwaukee Police officers have been patrolling the area since the shooting early Sunday morning.
