Jackson plans rally in Milwaukee for start of early voting
MILWAUKEE - Civil rights activist, Reverend Jesse Jackson Senior, is leading a push to provide free rides to the polls for all voters.
Calling Milwaukee Ground Zero for the state of Wisconsin, Jackson plans to rally outside the Wisconsin Jobs NOW office on Fond du Lac at 9am Monday, which is the first day of early voting in the state.
Following the rally, Rev. Jackson is expected to help pick up voters and take them to the Milwaukee Municipal Building to cast their early ballots.
Early voting is being held at the municipal building through November 2nd seven days a week.
Voters needing a ride to the polls can get one through the Wisconsin Jobs NOW office.
