Cabin burglar sentenced to four years
WASHBURN, Wis. - A man who broke into dozens of vacant summer homes in northern Wisconsin helped authorities recover many of the stolen items.
Still, 30 year old Eugene John Grahn is on his way to prison.
He has been sentenced to four years behind bars for his role in the cabin burglaries.
Grahn and a co-conspirator were convicted of breaking into at least 24 homes in the winter and spring of 2012.
Prosecutor Craig Haukaas encourages homeowners whose items are still missing to contact the Bayfield County sheriff's office.
