Ryan talks about debate performance, Presidential race
MILWAUKEE - Congressman and Republican Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan is telling Newsradio 620 WTMJ about his experience during his debate with Vice President Joe Biden. The Vice President was a guest with Newsradio 620 WTMJ talk show host Charlie Sykes Friday morning.
Ryan talked about his debate performance, and the ribbing he's taken since being in the spotlight. "I thought it was hilarious. I've been made fun of about my widow's peak pretty much since the 7th grade," Ryan said.

He also joked about the amount of water he drank during the debate. "You know I do drink a lot of water, I just have a very fast metabolism."
On a more serious note, Ryan says he's excited for voters to get another chance to see the real Mitt Romney during Monday's presidential debate. "This is where people get to cut through the 30 second ads and see this guy is a real leader. This guy has solutions for jobs, he has solutions for turning the economy around," Ryan said.
Ryan says he thinks the race is going to be close. "No one should take anything for granted. It's going to come down to turnout, voter enthusiasm. It's going very well. But we have to continue prosecuting this campaign and giving the country a very clear choice."
