Brewers reliever Francisco Rodriguez arrested in domestic violence case
WAUKESHA- Milwaukee Brewers reliever Francisco Rodriguez was arrested back in September for domestic violence and battery, Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel confirmed to TODAY'S TMJ4 Friday afternoon.
Schimel says the incident happened in the Town of Wales on September 17, and Rodriguez was arrested the next day.
It is not clear if Rodriguez will be charged on these allegations.
Rodriguez joined the Brewers in the middle of the 2011 season, and served as the team's primary setup man in 2011 and 2012.
In 2012, he threw 72 innings and had a 4.38 ERA with 72 strikeouts and 3 saves.
Rodriguez was arrested in 2010 after assaulting his father-in-law when he was with the New York Mets.
