Police investigate three shootings in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police said Friday they were searching for suspects in three separate shootings.

All three shootings happened during robbery attempts between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Thursday night.

All three victims were expected to survive.

Police said the first shooting happened at about 6:40 p.m. near the corner of South 51st Street and West Leroy Drive on the city's south side.

According to police, someone fired a shot from outside a 48-year-old man's home.  It struck the man while he was inside.

No one else was hurt.

The second shooting happened at about 10:10 p.m. near the corner of North 51st and West Walnut Streets.

The victim is 32 years old.

The third shooting happened just before midnight on North 29th Street, just north of Capitol Drive.

That victim is 29 years old.
