Former Walker staffer Kelly Rindfleisch reaches tentative plea deal
MADISON- A former Scott Walker staffer has reached a tentative plea deal, according to online court records.
Kelly Rindfleisch was accused of using Milwaukee County time to conduct campaign work for a Republican who lost a lieutenant governor race in 2010. Rindfleisch was Scott Walker's deputy chief of staff when he was the Milwaukee County executive.
She has been charged with four felony counts of misconduct in office. She was supposed to go to trial next week for those charges.
Instead, Rindfleisch and Milwaukee County prosecutors will meet in a Milwaukee County Circuit Courtroom at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, according to online court records.
Rindfleisch would be the second former Walker staff to plead guilty to campaign-related charges. The other is Walker's former constituent services director, Darlene Wink.
Scott Walker was subpoenaed to testify in Rindfleisch's trial on Tuesday.
