Person of interest sought in fatal armed robbery

MILWAUKEE- Milwaukee police have identified a person of interest following a deadly armed robbery at 518 E. Center St. back on June 30.

Authorities say the person of interest is: a black man with very short hair in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall, thin build, clean shaven, and was seen wearing a white T-shirt with a design on front, blue jeans, possibly red tennis shoes.

Police are looking for that person following the murder of Abraham Assana.

Anyone who saw that person that June night is asked to call police at (414) 935-7360.

Assana's family is offering a substantial reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) involved, according to Milwaukee police.
