Outfitting Yourself This is Wisconsin in early April.  Either snowpants or shorts, flip a coin. I'm still working off a little winter poundage, so I'm going classic with the Cecil Cooper road throwback.  But guys, if you're in shape, go topless with Blue Man Group paint with '82-shade gold and show those California-types our tough-guy substance! Wear your Brewers gear from head to toe, but remember this is one of 81 home games, so keep the body paint at home.
Pregame Food/Drink Beer and brats.  And lots of them. Of course, I agree with my counterparts on the left and right, with additions of Italian sausage, and for the health-conscious, chicken breasts with Secret Stadium Sauce. Polish Sausage and Brats, washed down with Miller Lite.  (Pepsi for you under agers.)
Other Stuff To Bring Music, beer, frisbee, beer, Brewers clothing, beer, Tylenol for hangover, beer. Do stuff that will draw a crowd to hang with you and expand the good times, games, even having a live jam session if you play an instrument.  (Just bring enough beer for everyone.) Bring the bags for a game of cornhole.  Ball and glove can't hurt, either.
Pregame Destination I usually like to start drinking in the parking lot by about 7:00 a.m.  If security won't let you in, grab some breakfast at Webb's and drink in their parking lot. Pre-open: Do your own tailgate at your place and grill out the breakfast burritos, then just carry the stuff with you. If you need to go to a bar before the game, your Opening Day tickets should be revoked.
Postgame Destination The parking lot is a good place to start, then have your designated driver take you to Kelly's Bleachers.  If you don't have a DD, keep drinking in the parking lot until the cops come. I would normally be Dan's DD, but I'd avoid the massive Bluemound crowd and bring some blue and gold to the green of Milwaukee's Irish pubs.  ("Wait, you haven't left the bar since St. Patrick's Day?") Kelly's Bleachers is close and always a good time.  Go westbound a couple blocks on Bluemound and stop in Steve's.  Leff's Lucky Town on State is also worth the trip if you are able to move.
