Gwen Moore believes Obama performed well in presidential debate
MILWAUKEE- Wisconsin Democratic Congresswoman Gwen Moore says the president's strongest moment during Wednesday's debate was criticizing Romney for a past comment he made about education -- that students should borrow money from parents to pay for college.
"That was the point Mitt Romney came undone," says Moore, who represents Wisconsin's 4th District.
Moore says President Obama focused on concrete ideas, while Romney spent time talking about things he wouldn't do if he was elected.
"Mitt Romney spent a lot of time making statements like 'I'm not going to raise taxes on the middle class', 'I'm not going to lower taxes on the wealthiest of people,'...he was backing away," says Moore.
Moore says she thought both candidates were energetic and polite to each other during Wednesday's debate.
