Aaron Rodgers named NFC Offensive Player of the Week

NEW YORK - According to a tweet from a league official, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the New Orleans Saints.

Director of NFC Football Communications Randall Liu tweeted that Rodgers earned the award for Week 4.

Rodgers, the defending National Football League Most Valuable Player, went 31-41 for 319 passing yards, four touchdown throws and one interception in the Packers' 28-27 win over New Orleans.
