SHEBOYGAN- Two teen boys will stand trial on charges they brutally killed a 78-year-old woman.

Sheboygan County Circuit Court Judge Timothy Van Akkeren has ruled there's enough evidence for 13-year-old Antonio D. Barbeau and Nathan J. Paape to stand trial -- accused of brutally killing 78-year-old Barbara Olson with a hammer and a hatchet.

Prosecutors say Barbeau and Paape killed Barbeau's great grandmother in Sheboygan Falls in an effort to steal from her.

The two 13-year-olds listened as the state called investigators who talked about their so-called confessions.  A confession the defense considers questionable.
"Yes, questioning a kid is a different skill set than questioning an adult," said Barbeau's attorney George Limbeck.

"You don't look at their Justin Bieber haircuts or their innocent faces, you look at what they did. Whether they're 13 or 80," argues Sheboygan County District Attorney Joe DeCecco.

DeCecco hopes the crime is tried in an adult courtroom.

According to the Sheboygan Press' twitter account, a hearing is set for Nov. 2 to determine where the case will be tried in adult or juvenile court.
