GREENDALE - The Milwaukee County District Attorney's office has charged a Greendale High School Student with a misdemeanor for making a bomb threat against the school over homecoming weekend.
Prosecutors could have charged the 17-year-old student with a felony, but the school district felt a misdemeanor might be a better charge.
That's because the teenager accused of making the threat was apparently himself bullied and was upset about it at the time.
According to the criminal complaint, students at Greendale High School voted him onto the Homecoming Court as a joke.
The student's threat coincided with homecoming.
