President Obama heads to Madison
MADISON, Wis. - One week after President Barack Obama campaigned in Milwaukee, where some criticized him for an extended absence in the state, there is word that he will return.
According to the Wisconsin State Journal, Mr. Obama will appear in Madison this coming Thursday, October 4th.
Signs were posted in Milwaukee last weekend, claiming it had been 220 days since President Obama's last visit to Wisconsin.
During his absence, First Lady Michelle Obama traveled to Wisconsin without her husband.
She met with families in Oak Creek after the Sikh Temple massacre.
Mrs. Obama was also in Appleton on Friday night.
She spoke at Lawrence University.
