Abele to unveil 2013 Milwaukee County Budget plan
MILWAUKEE - The public was expected to learn more about County Executive Chris Abele's new budget proposal on Wednesday.
He was set to unveil the 2013 budget at Moody Park at 12:00 p.m.
Abele said the $1.3 billion budget would improve services and public safety without raising taxes.
The plan reportedly includes a property tax freeze and a shift in health benefit costs onto employees.
He has been scheduled to formally present the budget to the Milwaukee County Board on Thursday.
