"Super Saturday" at IRS

By Stephanie Graham

IRS offices across the nation will be open today to help people who are eligible for the economic stimulus payment, but are normally not required to file an income tax return.  It's called "Super Saturday".

Approximately 320 IRS offices will be open today to prepare the simple form 1040A for people who are filing solely to receive their stimulus payment.

IRS partners like the AARP and United Way are also reaching out today to make sure retirees, veterans, and low-income workers get their rebates.

In Milwaukee, the IRS office at 211 Wisconsin Avenue will be open from 9-3pm.  Madison, Green Bay, and La Crosse also have offices open.  Check out www.irs.gov for more information.
