YORK, Neb. (AP) -- A Wisconsin man has pleaded not guilty to Nebraska drug charges.
The York News-Times reports (http://bit.ly/UsRqUT) that Brian Womack Sr. entered the plea last week in York County District Court.
Officers say more than a pound of cocaine in four bags and 1.58 pounds of marijuana in six bags was found in Womack's vehicle during a traffic stop near Bradshaw on Interstate 80.
Officers also found two marijuana joints and a chocolate bar laced with 150 grams of cannabis.
If convicted, Womack faces up to life in prison. His bail was lowered last week to $100,000. He remained in the York County Jail on Tuesday.
Womack's trial has been set for Feb. 20.
