Sunny, warmer Monday in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - The chill many of you felt, and frost many of you saw, in the Milwaukee area on Monday will subside and turn into bright, summer-like sunshine.
Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele predicts a beautiful Monday in store for our area.
"An upper level ridge and surface high pressure will be in control of our weather for virtually the entire week," said Scott.
"That means very, very quiet weather with plenty of sunshine. Initially, strong southwest winds will usher in warming temperatures today and tomorrow."
After a 75-degree day Tuesday, Scott warns of temperatures dropping again - much like they did this weeke.
"A cool front sends reading down by midweek, but even then, readings will only drop into the mid 60s for high temperatures, not far from the seasonal average of 68 degrees for this time of year."
The next three days aren't expecetd to bring much precipitation, though Scott says some areas along Lake Michigan could get a bit of rain.
"There's an slight risk for some lake effect rain showers to pop up in a few spots midweek, but that seems to be the only fly in the ointment."
