Chief Flynn reacts to ruling on suspect's death
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn released the following statement after the medical examiner's office changed the death of a man in custody from natural to homicide:
“My office has been advised that the Medical Examiner is reviewing, for a second time, the report of his deputy. This second report contains no information that was not in the first report nor does it present any new objective facts. Therefore, I have no reason to believe that the previously released report of the District Attorney that found there was no police misconduct is not still conclusive.” – Edward A. Flynn, Chief of Police
The Medical Examiner's office clarified Monday that its definition of homicide is different than what a court may use. It defines homicide as "death at the hands of another"
