Waukesha teachers to reopen collective bargaining Monday
WAUKESHA- Waukesha's Board of Education and the Education Association of Waukesha are meeting Monday to reopen the bargaining process.
It comes after a Dane County judge struck down parts of Governor Walker's collective bargaining law.
The meeting is open to the public and scheduled to happen at 4 p.m. at the Lindholm Building on 222 Maple Avenue in Waukesha.
Other districts have been hesitant to reinstate bargaining, as Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has appealed the decision and asked for a stay of the judge's ruling.
