Delta signs convention center naming rights deal
MILWAUKEE - Delta Airlines says it has signed a one-year deal to turn the Frontier Airlines Center into the "Delta Center."
The naming rights deal for the downtown Milwaukee convention center will also allow Delta Airlines exclusive airline advertising with the U.S. Cellular Arena and the Milwaukee Theatre.
“We are pleased that Delta Air Lines has agreed to sponsor our downtown convention center and support Milwaukee, and we are excited to begin a partnership with them,” said Wisconsin Center District Board Chairman Frank Gimbel in a statement.
Delta also said it would move from Concourse E to Concourse D at Mitchell International Airport. It plans to complete the move by early 2013.
Delta flies non-stop from Milwaukee to Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis and New York.
