Charges expected Tuesday against parents after infant found dead in Oconomowoc
OCONOMOWOC - A 32-year-old woman accused of murder and her husband both could face charges Tuesday after their 10-week-old baby died in the Town of Oconomowoc.
Authorities arrested her Saturday, the day the infant was pronounced dead. She is under suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide.
Waukesha County Sheriff's Captain Karen Ruff says that the father, 33, was also arrested Sunday. He has been arrested as well for allegedly not reporting the death of the child.
The couple was expected to appear in court Monday.
Oconomowoc Police say that they were called to a home Saturday just before 6 p.m. reporting the possible death of an infant.
The baby was pronounced dead at the scene by the Medical Examiner's Office.
According to Ruff, the couple's other children, 2 and 3 years old, are now under the care of a family member.
