Armed robbery suspect, 2 others arrested in Racine

RACINE- An armed robbery suspect and two others have been arrested after the three were barricaded in a Racine home.

Authorities were told around 2 p.m. Monday that an armed robbery happened near 17th and Center Streets.

Responding officers located the suspect near 20th and Franklin Streets.  The suspect fled officers and ran into a home near 20th and Howe Streets.

Racine police set up a perimeter and called in the SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Teams for support.

Around 6:30 p.m. three men exited the home safely, and were then arrested.

No one was hurt during this incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
