Another wrong-way driver arrested
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee County's 21st wrong-way driver of the year is in custody.
Sheriff's Deputies say the incident happened early Saturday on I-43.
They say the car was heading east in the westbound lanes. The 26-year-old driver actually avoided a squad that tried to stop her near 124th Street and was eventually stopped near 116th Street by two back-up squads.
No one was hurt.
She's been identified as Christie Ryker. Authorities say she's got a Nebraska driver's license and was driving a rental car.
Ryker faces up to 12 years, 6 months in prison if convicted of the Class F felony charge of Recklessly Endangering Safety.
