Star gazers have a few more chances in Wis. parks
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Star gazers still have a few more chances to admire the night sky from Wisconsin state parks this fall through the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Universe in the Park program.
The program places UW-Madison astronomy experts in the parks during the camping season. Park users can listen to their lectures, ask questions and gaze through a telescope at the stars.
The program runs through Oct. 31 at various parks around the state. A full schedule and locations are available on the program's website.
