Man faces 6th drunk driving charge after crash in Greenfield
GREENFIELD - The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department says they have arrested a 27-year-old following a crash that could lead to a sixth conviction for drunk driving.
A spokeswoman says that Rafael Garay, 27, crashed his car into a median wall on westbound I-43 just east of 60th Street in Greenfield at about 1:25 a.m. Tuesday morning.
According to the spokeswoman, a deputy found Garay with open beer cans in his car's back seat.
He was taken to Froedtert Hospital with what were described as minor injuries.
Garay has four outstanding convictions and had previously been charged with a 5th instance of drunk driving.
Charges are pending in Tuesday morning's case, which could lead to a possible 6th conviction.
